Main Entrance

The main entrance, leading to administration, offices and laboratories, separates the Turbine Room from the Switch House. At approximately nine metres in height, its construction and design is similar to the building complex.

A single chamber houses the impressive staircase, a design reflecting the post-war era in which it was built. It divides the main floor and the first floor, with terrazzo flooring consisting of either chips of marbles or granite, polished to give a smooth surface.
